Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week, an initiative by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, serves as an annual platform to promote positive mental health and engage Kiwis in activities that enhance their well-being.

Our approach for the ‘22 campaign centered around providing simple and accessible ways for individuals to improve their mental health through connection. Our concept emphasised the significance of nurturing positive relationships with others, the land, and nature, highlighting the associated well-being benefits. The tagline: ‘Reconnect—with the people and places that lift you up, hei pikinga waiora’ reinforces the idea in a simple, easy to understand sentence.

To breathe life into our concept, we employed larger-than-life inflatables to convey bilingual messages about the simple activities that foster mental health improvement. Whether catching up with friends, engaging in heartfelt conversations, or immersing oneself in nature, these inflatables served as visual aids, capturing the attention of audiences across the country.
