Rough & Milne approached us about rebranding, shortening their name to RMM to stand for the three namesakes. We considered the contrast inherent within RMM's specialised landscape architecture space—man-made and natural forms, science and art, hard and soft surfaces—to best express the company's new brand orientation.
By adopting this way of thinking, the brand displays a bold, contemporary typographic style paired with soft, gestural graphics. Utilising a strong, straightforward framework, the curated photography and natural colour scheme convey clarity and beauty. RMM moves forwards with confidence and modernity, expressing themselves with the same quality and standard as they approach their own landscape architecture practice.
Following the rebrand RMM have found enormous success, opening up two new offices in Auckland and Nelson and increasing its staff base from 21 to 32 employees.
