Working alongside the team of global outdoor apparel and equipment brand Kathmandu, we embarked on bringing to life their story of sustainability. As a newly incorporated B-Corp, they were looking at ways of strengthening their storytelling around the great environmental work they do.
Their communication needed to work as a printed report as well as translate effectively to small bite sized digital snippets, and instore promotions. We developed a bespoke set of icons and illustrations that could stand alone, interweave with photography and even come to life in animation when required.
The forms, shapes and angles of the iconography all took cues from the master Kathmandu logo and helped create a simple and easily digestible system. The icons were then integrated out across a redesigned of a 60 page sustainability report and have helped reinforce the image of Kathmandu of a socially conscious and environmentally responsible business.
